The company was founded by the President and General Manager in July 24, 1974 with its first office in unit 605 Jovan Condominium at the corner of Shaw Boulevard and Samat St., Mandaluyong City. It started as sub-contractor specializing in the supply and installation of aluminum and glass products in house and office projects and later on engaged as subcontractor for civil works on big vertical construction projects.
In January 12, 1979, the company was registered with the Security and Exchange Commission under the company name of “RICSONS CONSTRUCTION, INC.” As the clients grow in number and the capability of the company expanded, the company office was relocated to the present office address which is more accessible and bigger space that meet the demand of the growing company. Having stablished as an interior/architectural finishing works contractor, the company ventured to full time contractor starting in house construction, rehabilitation works, repairs works and set up shop for off-site repairs works.
In May 17, 1991, the company diversified and has included furniture fabrication and other shop fabrication works on its line of product and services. This time the company changed its name to “RICSONS CORPORATION”. Having established as a reputable company to a more than twenty (20) satisfied and repeat clients on its field of specialization, the company enters also in building maintenance of its client. It has completed thirty six (36) major projects ranging from new construction, rehabilitation and repair of building of various sizes and magnitude of scope. The company has been assisted by relatives and friends all through its existence and supported by expert consultants and professionals in the field of technology and legal matters.
To meet the need of the growing and expanding company, in 1994 a lot was purchased in the area of Amparo Subdivision in Caloocan City and build a warehouse that is used as material store room , motor pool, and fabrication area. With the establishment of this facility, the company were able to fabricate off-site furniture and other fabrication works for house and building projects.
As envisioned by the Board of Directors, the corporation has expanded its capabilities to include vertical and horizontal construction such as roads, bridges and irrigation system construction. Group of small contractors have joined Ricsons Corporation and expanded the capability of the company to be able to meet the demand for manpower, equipment, and supervision.
As a legitimate construction company, all projects completed and on-going were compliant on environmental protection requirement which includes operational permits from DENR.
